| Mission | Stone Soup Cafe is the Bread Line’s downtown soup kitchen, providing hot meals in a safe place for anyone in need. Prior to the pandemic, we served food in-house, but adapted to a to-go operation for the safety of our guests, volunteers and staff. We will reopen for sit-down dining when it is advisable to do so. |

| About | Five days a week (M-F) Stone Soup Cafe serves free, nutritious hot breakfasts and cold lunches to Fairbanks’ hungry neighbors. In 2020, volunteers served 48,882 meals at the soup kitchen – 2021 will likely meet that record. Poverty does not discriminate and our doors are open to everyone. We also have juice, hot tea and coffee, snacks, restrooms and a shower. Almost everything we serve comes from community donations and – when available – we also offer gloves, hand warmers, socks, shoes, shower kits and clean, dry clothing. |
