    New Bern Civitan Club is a nonprofit volunteer service organization dedicated to helping people in our community. We help whenever the need arises – from collecting food for a homeless shelter, building handicap ramps, outings with special needs children, collecting supplies and books for children, SantaLand, and much more. Membership in Civitan is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old.

    Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world. Twin Rivers Lions Club was organized in Jun 1990 and received its charter on August 25, 1990, with 23 original members. There are a number of programs that are offered through the Lions that can benefit them. Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at Garber United Methodist Church, 4201 Country Club Rd, New Bern, NC 28562.
